Abandoned puppy finds a refuge in a dangerous place. ⚡😨⚡

This year tested us in ways we never imagined. It began with fires raging all around us, and just two weeks later, our world was shaken again when a drunk driver crashed into our office and destroyed everything we had. 😿

What could have stopped us instead became a reminder of how powerful this community truly is. Because of you, we rebuilt. We replaced lost rescue equipment. We stood back up. And today, we are once again out there saving lives at full speed.

As 2026 approaches, more animals are already waiting for help. A new year means a new budget for urgent medical care, food, and rescue missions that cannot wait.

If you are able, please join us with an end-of-year, life-saving donation and help ensure that every animal who needs us next year gets their chance at safety, healing, and love.

When I spotted Merlin, he felt safe behind that fence, and he knew it would be nearly impossible to get in there. I worked to gain his confidence, but I wasn't fast enough, so he got away. I didn't want to use the Gentle Snare through the fence and then drag him out, so I decided to entice him to crawl out, and then get him. Usually, I would rather keep a dog in an enclosed area, but I had a feeling he would not leave me and the two bags of treats I had brought. 😄

Merline is now with our friends at I Stand With My Pack who are fostering him, so if you would like to adopt this super cool kid, please contact them directly: https://istandwithmypack.org

In the past month, I posted 26 new rescue videos! I'm sure it's a bit too much, but one comment that caught my eye the other day read this: 💝 What is one of the exceptional things about being a monthly donor is seeing what support for Hope for Paws brings about. 💝

If we had double the donors, we could have saved twice as many animals!
If you can, please join us and help us change more lives, and I'll send you our Lucky Leash: https://www.HopeForPaws.org/lucky_leash

Thank you so much.

Have a Healthy and Happy New Year!
