Every time the New Year or the 4th of July comes around, we have to deal with the terrible results of fireworks! Luckily, instead of running onto the road and getting hit by a car, little Firecracker climbed a tree, then jumped from the tree to the roof, and from there she couldn't go down. She cried and cried, and luckily, Clarissa, a Hope For Paws supporter, heard her screams and called me for help.
I rushed over, but I knew there was nothing I could do actively because a scared kitten wouldn't just surrender - she would have jumped off the roof to avoid me, and she wouldn't have survived it. 🙀
Instead, I set up a trap, waited and waited, but nothing happened. Clarissa monitored the trap for me, and early in the next morning, she told me we got her!!! 😻
